About Delphic Maxims
Delphic Maxims is a non-profit organization with a clear purpose: to disseminate the ancient maxims that form the legacy of the seven sages of ancient Greece, and to make them accessible to people of every age. Founded by Stelios Christakos, the organization treats these maxims not as museum pieces but as a living guide for daily life. Through its website and a dedicated app, available on both Google Play and the App Store, it combines the interpretation of each maxim with practical reflections on how it applies to modern living.
A Heritage Worth Sharing
At the center of this heritage are the Three Foremost Maxims, once placed on a column in the pronaos of the temple at Delphi so that every visitor would see them at once: “Know Thyself” (Γνῶθι Σαυτόν), “Nothing in Excess” (Μηδέν ἄγαν), and “Surety Brings Ruin” (Ἐγγύα, πάρα δ’ ἄτα). Alongside them, the organization shares a broader collection of maxims, scientifically supported articles, and blog content that connects ancient wisdom with contemporary questions of self-improvement and personal growth.
Our Role
Generation Y will manage Delphic Maxims’ social media presence and performance marketing. Our work covers social media management across all platforms, performance marketing campaigns, and a digital marketing strategy focused on visibility, engagement, and consistent growth. The goal is straightforward: to help more people discover the maxims, engage with their meaning, and carry them into their own lives.
Why This Collaboration Matters
Communicating a message that is both ancient and deeply personal calls for more than reach. It calls for authenticity. The value of the Delphic Maxims lies in their clarity and timelessness, and our role is to honor that while making them visible to audiences who may never have encountered them. For a non-profit, every additional person reached, every meaningful interaction, and every new supporter contributes directly to the mission.
